Nothing interests me anymore. I think school is really sucking the fun out of ordinary life. I'd like to admit that I expected the hard work, but what I didn't know was how much it would take a toll on me. Being in a graphic design program is tough shit! Ask anyone who is in it. The work a student churns out for the teachers either a) doesn't meet their standards b) is mediocre, yet not great or, c) why are you even taking graphic design? Because my program has a rather large enrollment, the faculty attempts to "plant seeds of doubt" in each student to make them feel shitty about themselves in order for them to drop out of the program and pursue something else. The teachers don't want to teach a large number of students (more work on their part; lazy bitches) and only want the dedicated and hardworking talented ones.
I don't like sucking up to any teacher I have regardless of whether they fail me or not. I know I am a hardworking student. I have good ideas! I just want to learn. LET ME LEARN DAMNIT! Why can't teachers nowadays give a shit about their students? I honestly think its a dog-eat-dog world out there, and that rings true in graphic design as well.
Good luck.
