I think I've learned more this semester than any of the other classes I took in the fall. Small class sizes and more hands on work is the best way I learn :) I can register for my classes for Fall 2010 around May 4, and got all my advising taken care of and got the big OK from the Graphic Design chair, so I'm FINALLY embarking on my concentrated major!!!
I'm so thankful to have gotten into an art class this year because I've met and learned a lot from many very interesting people. One of my fellow classmates from my Buddhist art class Sheri, has made a major impact on the way I view school. She's such a role model that I look up to, and I'm thankful to have developed such a good mutual friendship with her thus far. She's a undergrad BFA painting major and recently displayed some of her artworks in the current UH BFA show Between. She also won an award for her digital imaging piece she designed as well, and was chosen for the Kosaki Award for her research proposal for her graduate thesis. She's smart, intellegent, creative, and optimistic; all the elements that I want to better myself on. I hope to collaborate with her in her research in the near future.
